The Chapel was built by the famous architect Filippo Juvarra (1678-1736), one of the greatest exponents of the Italian Baroque, who worked for many years in Turin and was Vittorio Amedeo ll of Savoy's most trusted architect. At that time the Castle's owners were the Della Rovere, which were very close to the House of Savoy. For this reason the Juvarra was chosen to design and build the church of Redabue in the early years of the 18th century.
